Content Intern - Tier 2

About the position:

Launch Digital Marketing is looking for undergraduate students interested in learning more about writing and publishing web-friendly SEO content. Candidates should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with extensive knowledge of Web and social media. Mac interface, Google Drive, PowerPoint experience is a bonus, and will be considered when choosing the best applicants for these internship positions.

The Tier 2 division of Launch Digital Marketing handles a specific subset of regional clients for Honda and Acura Advertising Associations. Tier 2 differs from other teams at LDM in that each team member’s role requires a fundamentally unique skill set relative to that of the other team members. We all specialize in different areas, and collaborate regularly to learn from one another and develop synergistic strategies for our particular client base.

The Content Intern will work directly with the Tier 2 SEO strategist and Tier 2 project manager to write, edit, publish, and update automotive SEO content for fifteen clients. We are looking for an innovative thinker with an eye for design who has a passion for crafting riveting online content. Strong attention to detail and an interest in automotive are required.


Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Write engaging, informative content that follows established guidelines and SEO best practices.
  • Research keywords and automotive brand/make/model information to write blog content.
  • Edit content to ensure quality and adherence to brand standards and compliance regulations.
  • Publish content by following existing templates; aid in creating new templates based on UX.
  • Assist with ongoing optimization and improvements to clients’ websites to ensure success of our clients’ websites and marketing services.
  • Assist with the collection and maintenance of automotive brand news and events, product releases, program guidelines and compliance regulations.
  • Be an active team member and problem solver; working with others to identify opportunities for improved communication and internal processes
  • Administrative tasks - other admin tasks as assigned by the team.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Organized and able to manage time and workload effectively, and consistently meet deadlines while working independently or collaboratively within a team
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced constantly changing environment
  • Self starter who is naturally curious
  • Ability to carefully follow instructions/directions and follow established processes
  • Interested in learning HTML and the Wordpress platform
  • Photoshop skills (cropping, resizing)
  • Ability to communicate questions or issues to team members
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional proofreading skills
  • Keen analytical/problem solving skills
  • Proficient with Google Docs/Google Sheets or Microsoft Word/Microsoft Excel
