We are looking for an email marketing specialist who will oversee the development and execution of highly targeted email campaigns. You’ll be charged with driving lead activation and increasing conversions for our clients as well as growing our own internal marketing efforts. If you are experienced in marketing automation, have an eye for campaign design (you’ll also work closely with our design team), are a strong copywriter, and love diving into analytics for continuous improvement, we encourage you to read on!
Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience required.
Strong project management skills.
Enthusiastic self-starter who can work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
Knowledge of Sendgrid, Pardot, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred.
Highly analytical and able to derive meaning from data.
Must be detail oriented (did it bug you that we didn’t include a hyphen between ‘detail’ and ‘oriented’?)
Must be able to show us examples of those one-in-a-million headlines you’ve written that you know (by reviewing data) got through a crowded inbox.
Experience in A/B testing subject lines, content, etc..
Able to show an understanding of CRM systems.
Able to show ROI of successful marketing campaigns you’ve executed.
Experience with Google Analytics is helpful.
In this role you will work with the Operations and Design teams to support six regions in the design and execution of email marketing initiatives for our clients. You will also design and execute internal email marketing campaigns. You will lead A/B testing efforts, implement email best practices, develop supporting collateral for the Sales and Account Management teams, analyze and provide reports and consult on email marketing strategies in an effort to drive more website traffic and conversions.
More specifically you will:
Build and execute responsive email campaigns for clients and internal marketing initiatives.
A/B test headlines, content, etc. to continuously improve and move the needle on successful client campaigns.
Consult on building valuable email lists and other ethical email practices.
Keep up on email best practices and bring new ideas to the table.
Analyze and report on key metrics.
Work within our (and assist with client) CRMs.
Monitor email department expenses, assist accounting with billing reconciliations, track P and L reports.
Work cross-functionally with other teams to collaborate on marketing strategies combining email and other disciplines.
