Job Description

The People Operations Coordinator is responsible for providing the People Operations (HR) department with administrative support and as such requires a high degree of confidentiality.

Primary Duties

  • Process employment applications and assist with interview scheduling
  • Submit requests for background checks, performs previous employment verification and issues communication to applicants
  • Enter applicant information in to HR database
  • Assist with equipment orders and on-boarding preparation
  • Ensure completion of all new hire paperwork
  • Create new employee personnel files
  • Complete verifications of employment/answers inquiries and provides information to authorized persons
  • Maintain HR database by running routine reports to ensure all appropriate information is accounted for
  • Other duties as required/assigned

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Human Resources
  • Trustworthy and capable of handling highly confidential employee information
  • Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills.
  • Detail oriented with natural commitment to follow through.
  • Demonstrated mastery of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Flexible and demonstrates comfort with ambiguity.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity, initiative, and highly effective listening skills.
  • Comfortable handling multiple projects, accurately setting priorities on a regular basis.
  • Thinks creatively and works as a collaborative team member.
